Condensate (water) is a natural by-product of the heating & cooling process.
In situations where drainage is not available close to the indoor HVAC unit, a condensate pump can be used to pump the water to a remote drain or outside dwelling.
Condensate pumps contain a pan to collect water and a pump that is triggered by a flow switch. Condensate is delivered to the pump through the HVAC discharge tube, when a sufficient quantity is accumulated, the float switch activates the pump and it is discharged through a flexible tube that can be routed to an appropriate location.
• Attached stainless steel multi tab mounting brackets allow pump to be installed on the floor beside the furnace or on a nearby wall.
• Lid on pump can be rotated 180°, allowing the check valve to be on the opposite side of the unit for easier access.
• Rated for condensate water up to 150°F (65.6°C).
• Automatic start/stop operation.
• Pump is capable of handling acidic condensate produced by high efficiency condensing furnaces and tankless water heaters.
• Lid mounted bullseye to confirm level installation.
• Thermally protected motor with a stainless steel motor shaft.
• Durable and chemical-resistant ABS plastic body construction.
• Large 2.5 quart (2.4 liter) collection tank allows more water pumped per cycle reducing motor wear.
• Sound dampening rubber feet.
• UL/cUL listed in both US and Canada.
• Safety Switch standard on all pump sizes.
• 3 year manufacturer’s warranty.
