This allows for twice as many filters to be stored in the same warehouse or service truck space as a conventional pleated filter. Simultaneously, the one piece filter features a full frame so the filter sits correctly in the filter box. • One piece filters are injection molded into a single unit, creating a filter that is rugged, and more durable than conventional cardboard frame filters, and need no steel reinforcing wire. You can even step on the filter and it springs back into shape. • Conventional cardboard frame filters get soft and fall apart when they get wet.
